Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, proudly hosted the Class XI Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony and Rotary Interact Club Installation Ceremony on 31 July 2026. The event featured the captivating Nritya Natika, "Meera – Ek Gatha Bhakti Ki Shakti Ki," celebrating timeless values, academic excellence, and the spirit of service.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Jagjit Singh, PCS, Additional Secretary, Department of Planning; Additional Director, Department of Industries & Commerce; and Additional Managing Director, Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation, as the Chief Guest, along with distinguished Rotarians.
The programme began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by the enthralling dance drama depicting Meera's inspiring journey from innocence to divine love. The event also witnessed the installation of the new Rotary Interact Club members and the felicitation of meritorious students for their outstanding academic achievements.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest encouraged students to pursue excellence while remaining rooted in values and reminded them that "Success is never ending, and failure is never final." School Director Mrs. Reema Dewan reaffirmed the school's commitment to holistic education and the guiding principle of "Service Before Self."
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving the audience inspired by the themes of scholarship, leadership, service, and compassion.
